How I’m typing this I don’t even know. I don’t remember being so irate (probably not true)! I don’t know where to really start with this, so I’m just going to start big and trickle down to smaller subjects.

Republican war on women.

Don’t you DARE tell me that this is something the media made up to “distract” from the “real issues”. Oh? I’m sorry, I didn’t know that my own health isn’t supposed to be in my concerns. Lately I’ve been researching a little more specifically about what the republican candidates have been saying more toward women’s reproductive rights and I’m absolutely shocked!

Let’s start off with the subject of rape. Whenever I hear this action, I get chills. It’s such an act that violates you in every aspect of a person that to even attempt to play it down sends me up the wall. 
Offence #1: In different states, i.e. Georgia, they want to change women who have been raped, stalked, violated from VICTIMS to ACCUSERS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I would say this is one of the most repulsive things I’ve ever heard, but I’d be lying. Believe it or not..there’s more.
Offence #2: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/south-dakota-defending-justifiable-homicide-bill-include-abortion/story?id=12923085#.T1pgJ4E4MRo. Not only is this morally wrong beyond belief, it also goes against everything this country stands for.

**This isn’t the end of the list people! Do more research; you will be SHOCKED.

Now let’s go onto abortion. I usually try and refrain from talking political with people, especially when I know they’re pro-life. I like to let people have their own beliefs because chances are, I can’t change them just like they can’t change mine. Luckily this is my blog so I’m about to let it all hang out. My first irk is when people hear pro choice, THIS IS NOT MEAN PRO ABORTION. No, I don’t believe that every answer to an unwanted pregnancy is abortion..but heh, funny thing it should be up to YOU and NOT your government. What people need to realize is even IF we someone by some force of nature pass a law that outlaws abortions…they’re STILL going to happen. They’ll just take place in back alleys by people who don’t know what they’re doing. Women should have safe and easy access to make their own decisions with their own body.

I highly recommend watching videos from 1 in 3 campaign (http://1in3campaign.org/), where hopefully people will learn that abortions aren’t just being had by younger people who just “forgot” to use a condom.
